MarchPhotoaDay - Day 8 - Window
Travel - Window to the world. A pic taken during my journey to Holland. No, it is not the real Holland in Netherlands, but the Holland in Michigan,USA where the tulip festival is celebrated in a smaller scale as compared to the real Holland. The picture shows a traditional folk dance being performed by artists as a part of their local tulip festival.
MarchPhotoaDay - Day 5 - Smile
A good workout + a power packed smoothie = Instant Mood Lifter. Brings a smile to my face everytime.

#MarchPhotoaDay - Day 3 - Neighbourhood
The view of my neighbourhood from my patio. Today a huge snow storm hit us and forced me to be inside my house whole day. It is no fun especially when you are staying alone. However, I managed to read, watched an excellent movie ("Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind", again !) and chatted with my friends.
How did your Saturday go?

MarchPhotoaDay - Day 2 - Fruit
"Comes in different shapes, colours and sizes; calls itself Valencia, Cara-Cara, Navel or Blood Oranges; tastes juicy, sweet and tangy"
Oranges are one of my favourite fruits. They come as a close second to Mangoes and tie the second place with grapes. Another fruit which I consume daily is Bananas, more as a pre-workout snack, but they do play a huge part in curbing my hunger cravings.
What is your favourite fruit?

MarchPhotoaDay - Day 1 - Up
Up on the lamp, perched a butterfly. What is it searching for? A little ray of sunshine or the warmth of its cocoon?
Photo a Day is a concept developed by FatMumSlim. I had been following some of the photos diligently posted by people in Instagram and blogs during FebPhotoaDay and decided to join in this month. The lamp in the picture is place directly above my table, the table on which I place my laptop, write, eat, read and do a gazillion other things. This butterfly was left by my friend when she was shifting houses and picked it up from her empty apartment. One day, I placed this butterfly on top of the lamp just out of curiosity and totally forgot about it. Taking this photo made me look at it again and realize how much I ignore the small things in my life.
Are you doing the marchphotoaday? If yes, leave me a comment and I will follow your posts in your blog/instagram/twitter? If not, tell me about a photo you took that is close to your heart.
